Brazos Commercial Roofing is currently looking for experienced waterproofers to join our team. If you are a dedicated team player, with a strong work ethic, who wants to utilize your experience and skills in waterproofing, please consider joining our team!

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-years of experience in commercial waterproofing. The waterproofer will be responsible for performing various commercial waterproofing, caulking, and masonry repair work on commercial buildings. Experienced waterproofers only need to apply. Must be able to work off platforms, ladders, or mechanical lifts. Ability to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop often.

Responsibilities include:

• Knowledge and experience using air & moisture barrier applications.
• Joint sealants, traffic coating systems, water repellants, and air/vapor barrier systems.
• Below-grade mechanically fastened, self-adhered, and fluid-applied systems.
• Removal and replacement of old caulking or sealant materials, clean surface area, and apply new caulking sealant with a caulking gun.
• Apply waterproofing materials using various application methods, including spray, brush, roller, or trowel, ensuring uniform and effective coverage.
• Inspect work areas for defects in substrates and deficiencies in waterproofing, making necessary repairs and adjustments to ensure a watertight seal.
• Brick masonry rehab and tuck-pointing.
• Coating using rollers and airless spray equipment.
• Ensure clean and proper application of caulking and other compounds.
• Operating power washers and other power tools.
• Ensuring the safe operation of swing stages, Boom lifts, and other suspended work platforms.
• Frequently lifting, carrying, working at heights, and holding tools and supplies.
• Adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned. These duties may change often as the work conditions require.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven work experience in waterproofing.
• Knowledge of commercial waterproofing systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Team Player – Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
• Reliability – Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential. Willing to travel out of the area occasionally.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted.
